## After reconnecting

A new shell does not keep the [PATH](https://docs.agentrouter.cc/wallets/metamask#metamask-check) and [helper settings](https://docs.agentrouter.cc/wallets/metamask#metamask-helper) from setup. Restore them before using the wallet again, then check its status and balance. Keep the saved purchase response private; do not buy again just to restore a shell session.

### Expected result

The existing CLI and helper are available again. Do not assume a previous bearer-key environment variable survived reconnecting.
